“More sport infrastructures have been created in the last five years and in the next three to four years much more than what has been created in the last 45 years, will be done” he said.

The chief minister said in the last five-six years his government has focused on infrastructure investment like never before.

“Our expenditure has doubled in the last five years and in terms of capital investment in the infrastructure has tripled in the last five years and that is the reason why so many infrastructure projects today are coming up throughout the state and many more will come in the coming years.”

Prime Hub

The chief minister also inaugurated the PRIME Hub at Wahiajer village, located in the Thadlaskein Community and Rural Block.

The Wahiajer PRIME Hub, dedicated to processing turmeric, ginger, and broom grass, is poised to impart knowledge and introduce technology to farmer collectives, women’s collectives, and aspiring entrepreneurs in the region. The government’s commitment to doubling farmers’ income is reflected in mission-mode interventions covering turmeric, ginger, jackfruit, mushroom, apiculture, spice, and more.

With 80 collective marketing centres, 79 Ginger and Areca Nut warehouses, 13(20MT) Cold Storages, and 27(5MT) Cold Storages at farmer’s markets, the government aims to create a resilient and efficient agricultural ecosystem.
