Shillong, July 30: NPP National President and Chief Minister Conrad Sangma is silent on the arrest of two Catholic nuns in Chhattisgarh, while the BJP leader and cabinet minister, AL Hek, spoke to the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and wrote to him for the release of the nuns.
The government charged the nuns with transporting women illegally, which, however, was denied by the relatives of the women, who were in search of jobs.

Hek, who is also a national executive committee member of the BJP, said he is concerned about the incident.
Conrad, otherwise, is regular on social media platforms to give his views on varied subjects, but did not do so in the case of nuns.
