Shillong, Jan 10: NPP leader Rakkam Sangma has said the achievements of the Congress are history and should be kept in books.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, he said the NPP is the only hope for the future of the young people of Meghalaya.

His reaction was to the claim of AICC leader in_charge Meghalaya and MP from Tamil Nadu Dr A Chellakumar that the Congress was instrumental in establishing important institutes like NEHU, IIM, NIT, NIFT and others.
The AICC leader had also said the party will retain Shillong parliamentary seat and snatch away Tura parliamentary seat from NPP in the Lok Sabha polls.
Rakkam said whatever Chellakumar had spoken is history.
“History is to read not to implement”, Rakkam added.
