Conrad in Delhi, meets Union ministers
Shillong, August 11: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma met two Union ministers in New Delhi on Wednesday and discussed state projects in respective sectors.
Sangma met Tourism Minister Kishan Reddy at his office. “Had a very fruitful discussion with Hon’ble Union Tourism Minister, Sh. @kishanreddybjp ji on measures to accelerate the development of tourism infrastructure in the State,” the chief minister tweeted.
Sangma, accompanied by Jowai West MLA Wailadmiki Shylla, met Minister of Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju in the Capital and “apprised him of the ongoing projects to strengthen judiciary system in Meghalaya”, the chief minister tweeted.
Sources said Sangma will inaugurate an NPP office in the Capital on Thursday and is scheduled to meet the media thereafter.
