
Shillong, Feb 23: The election officer and East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner RM Kurbah said on Sunday that the results of the KHADC polls will be ready from 10 am on Monday
“The strong room will open hy 7.30 am. We will start counting postal ballots by 8 am and around 8.30 am, we will start counting EVMs votes. By 10.30 am, will be finishing all the formalities and countings of all the constituencies will be completed”, she said after inspecting ISBT, Mawiong where counting of votes will be done.
Traffic snarl and exams
The deputy commissioner advised the students who are appearing for examinations to reach early in examination halls.
“We appeal.to students to come early to avoid getting stranded or delayed”, she said.
The administration has imposed no-entry at Mawtawar junction towards Mawlai by-pass
Vehicles will be diverted towards VIP road, Mawlai Mawtawar to Umroi /Mawlai Mawroh / Mawlai Umshing
There will be mo parking from ISBT junction to Mawiongrim, Mawlai by-pass bridge
All Ri-Bhoi and Guwahati based vehicles have been advised to take the VIP Road, Mawlai Mawtawar to Umroi or GS Road.

One side parking from Mawiongrim, Mawlai by-pass bridge to Mawtawar junction.
One side parking at the Lay-by, Mawiongrim.
However, emergency service vehicles will be allowed to ply and will be facilitated.
JHADC
Elaborate arrangements have been made in Jaintia Hills to count the votes of all 29 constituencies under JHADC.
All the results are expected by from 10 am.
