Shillong, Nov 11: The first class judicial magistrate here on Tuesday granted bail to the four accused- Mosklandar Marngar, president of Meghalaya Commercial Truck Owners and Drivers Association( MCTODA), Heibor Pariat, Teibor Marngar and Thrangbor Lyngdoh- in connection with the protests by them and others on transportation charges on cement and clinkers.
The bail was granted with normal conditions like the need to cooperate with the investigation, no tampering of evidence, restrictions on leaving the station and a bail bond of Rs 20,000 each with surety of two.
