Shillong, Sept 27: The visit of Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarandah Ji to propagate ban on cow slaughter has been postponed to Saturday.
The national coordinator of Gau Gathbhandan, Raja Saksham Singh Yogi informed on Friday that due to some confusion and logistics , the visit will be on Saturday and not Friday
He indicated that the team will arrive in Umroi airport before proceeding to Shillong for the rally on Saturday.

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj is arriving at the airport of Shillong of Meghalaya by charter plane on 28-9-2024 at 12:00 PM. He will reach the airport at 12:00 PM and install the cow flag in the morning under the Gau Dhwaj Sthapana Bharat Yatra, demanding to declare cow as the mother of the nation and to enact a central law to stop cow slaughter.
