Cattle seized
The Commander of 30 Battalion, BSF, at Lyngkhat in East Khasi Hills lodged a complaint that around 10.30 pm on May 1, BSF personnel recovered nine head of cattle from BOP Nayabazar.

A woman lodged a complaint that around 8 pm on April 30, one Kamniki Khariah (27) attacked her with firewood at Rakabah village in West Jaintia Hills. Later, the accused armed with a billhook threatened her with dire consequences.
