Shillong, Dec 19: Basant Kumar Mishra, presently serving as DSP, CBPS (ER), Shillong, has been posted to the Cyber Crime Wing.
Known for cracking several high-profile cyber and other important cases, Mishra has also been instrumental in the recovery of defrauded money for many victims. An ace investigator, his induction is expected to significantly strengthen the Cyber Crime Wing.

With his experience and expertise, it is anticipated that cyber criminals preying on innocent citizens of the state will be effectively brought to justice.
