Shillong, Sept 4: East Khasi Hills district administration has issued advisory ahead of the visit of Vice President CP Radhakrishnan on September 7 and 8.
The order below
ORDER UNDER SECTION 163 BNSS
“Whereas, in view of the visit of the Hon’ble Vice President of India to Shillong w.e.f 7th 8th September, 2026;
And, Whereas, many VIPs and dignitaries will be attending the said event.
Now, therefore, I, Shri. Abhilash Baranwal, IAS, District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under section 163 BNSS do hereby declare No-Drone Zone w.e.f 7th – 8th September, 2026 with a radius of 3(three) kilometers from the venue of the function i.e, State Central Library, Shillong and place of stay i.e Lok Bhavan, Shillong.
In view of the urgency of the matter this order has been made ex-parte and it shall come into force with immediate effect and remain in force for a period w.e.f 7th – 8th September 2026.
