Shillong, Sept 12: Former Chief Minister DD Lapang (91) passed away at Bethany Hospital here on Friday night.
A family source said that the mortal remains of the late leader will be kept at his residence at Lachaumiere.

Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong visited the family members and condoled the death of the late leader.
He also discussed the funeral arrangements with the family.
Former Shillong MP Vincent Pala, who attended the meeting, said that a state funeral will be held on September 15.
