Shillong, Feb 20: The Assembly was adjourned on Friday as a mark of respect to the Shillong MP Ricky Syngkon, who passed away on February 19.
The Business Advisory Committee met in the Speaker’s chamber and decided to adjourn the House.

“The BAC decided to suspend the House for a day”, the Speaker said.
The Chief Minister was to present the Budget on Friday( Feb 20).
The Budget will be presented on Monday( Feb 23)
The BAC has decided to have obituary reference in the House.
