Shillong, May 24: The number of deaths on Monday remained the same as that of Sunday with 24 while the new cases are 811.
The new recoveries are 679 and the total active cases in the state stand at 7788.

As many as 483 people lost their lives till date due to Covid.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma carried out a review of the status of Covid cases in the state.
Briefing reporters, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said on Monday that the government has decided to declare micro containment zones depending on the number of cases in a particular area.
