E-sports events unveiled for Asian Games 2022

Hangzhou, Nov 5 (UNI/Xinhua): Hangzhou 2022 organisers have officially announced the events for the Hangzhou Asian Games E-Sports at a press conference during the 2021 China International Import Expo here on Friday.

The eight medal games are FIFA online 4, PUBG Mobile Asian Games version, Arena of Valor Asian Games Version, Dota 2, League of Legends, Dream Three Kingdoms 2, HearthStone and Street Fighter V.

Each event will have a gold, silver and bronze medal on offer, which means 24 medals can be won in Esports at the upcoming 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China in 2022.

The Asian Electronic Sports Federation, which is based in Hong Kong, China, has been appointed as the Technical Delegate of the esports events at the Hangzhou Asian Games by the Olympic Council of Asia.

E-sports made its debut in the Asian Games as a demonstration event at Jakarta 2018.
