Shillong, September 14: An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 was felt in the city around 4.41 pm on Sunday.
The epicentre was in Udalgiri in Assam. The tremors were also felt in the neighbouring countries, including Bangladesh and Nepal.

The last earthquake of 5.1 magnitude was felt in Shillong in February this year.
