Shillong, Jan 9: Ahead of the Assembly elections, the state government on Monday transferred several IPS, IAS and MPS officers, including the East Khasi Hills SP, City SP and Deputy Commissioner.
SC Sadhu was appointed as the new DC of East Khasi Hills and the current DC has been posted as director and secretary to community and rural development department and secretary to farmers’ welfare department.
IPS officer Dr Raghavendra Kumar MG, has been made the new Superintendent of Police (SP), East Khasi Hills District while Sylverster Nongtnger has been made the SP of F&ES, Shillong, according to a notification issued by Secretary in-charge Home (Police) CVD Diengdoh.
