Tura, Mar 2: NPP’s South Tura candidate Conrad sangma is leading with 10,090 votes after the third round of counting. His bete noir, BJP’s Bernard Marak secured 7260 votes.
Conead, along with mother Soradini sangma and other family members, paid tribute to PA sangma at his grave in Tura. Later, Soradini visited the counting centre at Dakopgre.

NPP so far has won Kharkutta seat and all seats in North Garo Hills. James Sangma, however, is trailing in Dadenggre.
Jimmy sangma, who defeated heavyweight Mukul Sangma in Tikrikilla, said he was happy with the result and that his constiruency would have never accepted an outsider.
