Shillong, Feb 9: The fire incident at Upper Lachaumiere in the hours on Monday affected four families.
The Assam-type building was completely gutted by fire.

One of the family members was away when the incident took place.
The residents could not save anything as the fire was devastating, said the house owner, M. Dkhar
