First-ever airline recruitment drive at DBYC
Shillong, Oct 28: India’s largest airline conducted a campus recruitment drive for the first time at the Don Bosco Youth Centre (DBYC) in Laitumkhrah.
A total of 700 candidates from across the North Eastern region registered online for the recruitment, out of which 242 candidates appeared for the interview and assessment rounds. After a rigorous selection process, four candidates were successfully chosen for appointment.
Earlier in September, Emporium Skills Training Institute (ESTI) and Don Bosco Youth Centre signed an MoU to collaborate on employment-linked professional training and recruitment in the fields of aviation, hospitality and luxury international cruise lines. The partnership aims to empower the educated yet unemployed youth of Meghalaya and the entire Northeast region through globally relevant skill development and placement programmes.
