Shillong, Oct 25: A flight from New Delhi to Shillong landed at Guwahati airport due to a bomb threat, a transport department official said on Friday.
When contacted, Shillong Airport Director Rajeev Ranjan said the flight started at 9.45 am on Friday from Delhi and was supposed to land at 1.pm at Umroi airport.

The threat came from a twitter account and the air traffic control personnel alerted the security personnel and subsequently decided to ensure landing of the Spicejet flight in Guwahati instead of Umroi, the official added.
