Shillong, June 8: The state government has banned import of fish for 15 days due to the formalin content in fish.
The order was after test report confirmed formalin in 30 samples out of 40 sent for examination.

Temporary ban was imposed by Food Safety Commissioner RM Kurbah in a notification issued on Thursday.
