Shillong, Jan 31: Prangkybirth M. Momin, a young athlete from Daram Tekalang village in Resubelpara, North Garo Hills, has been selected to represent India at the 5th WAKO India International Kickboxing Cup 2026, from February 4 and 8 in New Delhi.
Momin had earlier participated in several national events, such as the National Seniors Muay Thai Championship 2018 in Guwahati, WAKO India National Seniors and Masters Kickboxing Championship 2021 in Goa and WAKO India National Seniors and Masters Kickboxing Championship 2022 in Chennai. Last year, he participated in the International Grappling Wrestling Training Camp 2024 in Shimla.

Momin is a self-defense training instructor and an MMA national grappling and wrestling coach.
