Shillong, Sep 16:The All India Malayalee Association (Meghalaya Unit), together with Kalakairaly Shillong will celebrate Onam on September 17 at the U Soso Tham Auditorium, IGP, here at 10.30 am.
Goa governor PS Sreedharan Pillai, will grace the occasion as the chief guest, while cabinet minister AL Hek and additional chief secretary Shakil P Ahamed will be the guests of honour.
The programme will include cultural items presented by its members and students studying in Shillong, recognition of achievers, Onam sadya (traditional feast) and a special act by TV/Film artiste from Kerala, Rajesh Adimali.
