Gokhale to move vigilance commissioner on Meghalayan Age issue

Shillong, Dec 5: The AITC national spokesperson Saket Gokhale said on Monday that he will move the Chief Vigilance Commissioner requesting an urgent probe into the projects under Meghalayan Age Limited.
The Chief Secretary is the vigilance commissioner in the state.
“I intend to soon release a point-by-point rebuttal to the eyewash which is the press release of the Meghalaya Govt”, said a statement issued by Gokhale.
“I’m aware that a press note has been issued by Govt of Meghalaya in response to the allegations raised this morning about Meghalayan Age Ltd & IAS officer D Vijay Kumar. The Meghalaya Govt is trying to intimidate me with a “defamation” threat. That does not bother me at all. It is quite shocking that a govt mired in corruption is making such threats. Let them go to court if they have the courage. All their black deeds will be out in public”, Gokhale said.
