Shillong,Feb 20: The education department has appointed an administrator to implement the winding up of the CMJ University.
A notification in this regard issued by the Commissioner & Secretary in-charge Education Vijay Mantri on Thursday said, “In pursuant to the Supreme Court of India judgment dated February 13, 2025 and as per section 48 of the CMJ university Act, 2009, the Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to appoint D Lyngdoh, Joint Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Education Department as Administrator of the CMJ University Meghalaya. He shall implement the winding up of the University in a manner approved by the state government”.
