Shillong,Oct 13 : The vice president of Voice of Hynniewtrep People, Donbok Kharlyngdoh alleged that the state government is trying to infiltrate into their group to create division in the movement demanding justice for former general secretary of HNLC Cherishstarfield Thangkhiew, who was killed by police on August 13.
The group ( in picture) staged a sit-in demonstration on Wednesday at Malki football ground.

To a question, Kharlyngdoh downplayed the existence of different factions by saying that whichever is the faction, the goal is to get justice for Thangkhiew.
He reiterated the need on the part of the government to take action against three police officials involved in the crime.
