Govt seeks report on students missing exams due to landslide
Shillong, April 5: Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui has said the department is asking a report on students who missed out their board examinations due to inclement weather in the state.
Rymbui told reporters on Tuesday that the department is aware that some students had missed their exams on Monday because of heavy rainfall which had left many roads cut off in the state.

“The department will seek a report and will do what is necessary so that students will not be at a loss due to rain which played havoc in the state ,” he said and added that the department will take a decision on the matter within a day or two.
According to official sources, around 25 students had missed their board examinations due to heavy rainfall.
