Shillong, Feb 25: The state government will explore Self Help Groups for men.
The suggestion was made by Heavingstone Kharpran (VPP) in the House during the question hour on Wednesday.

In reply, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that though the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) is guideline- based, the government will explore the formation of SHGs for men.
“The matter used to come up during my visit to the villages’, the chief minister added.
