Shillong, Nov 17: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Monday said that the home department is at the last stage of filling up 3000 vacancies
After inaugurating the new building of Jengjal police station on Monday, the chief minister said the vacancies in the police are gradually being filled. “Process for filling up of more than 3000 vacancies has already started and is in the last stage of recruitment, that is, the personal interview. This is perhaps one of the largest recruitments in the history of the state,” he said.

According to the chief minister, with this recruitment, the shortage of manpower will be resolved.
