Harding Universal Trust lends a helping hand to women of WGH village
Shillong, Dec 9: The Harding Universal Trust, which runs the Harding Theological College in Tura, carried out a charity programme at Songjelpara, about 37 km from Tura towards Dalu.
Members of the Trust, including former top RBI official Beryl Sangma, distributed garments to about 80 women. “It was so satisfying to see the joy and smiles on the faces of the ladies,” said Sangma.

The Trust has also been recognised as a partner by the central and state governments for skill development.
“We will start the initiatives soon in a number of villages for tailoring, weaving, agricultural and horticultural projects, masonry, carpentry, IT sector,” said Sangma.
