Shillong, Aug 1: Justice Biswadeep Bhattacharjee was administered the oath of office as additional Judge of the High Court of Meghalaya on Tuesday by Chief Justice Sanjib Banerjee.

Justice Bhattacharjee was born on March 29, 1968 in Shillong and competed LLB from North Eastern Hill University.
He joined the Bar and practised as an Advocate from 1993. Prior to his elevation, he served as additional advocate general from September 6, 2018.
He was also designated as senior advocate on September 24, 2021 by the High Court of Meghalaya.
