Shillong, Nov 20: The High Court of Meghalaya will continue its hearing on NEHU affairs on Nov 22.
A hearing on the PIL in this regard was held on Wednesday by the division bench comprising Chief Justice IP Mukherji and Justice B Bhattacharjee.
The bench was for resumption of normal functioning of the University besides addressing the health condition of the agitating students.
The court also expressed concern over the hunger strike by the students which had started on November 5.
Later, the NEHU students called off the hunger strike temporarily but decided to continue with the protest till their various demands are addressed.
The two-member central committee to probe the alleged mismanagement and administrative failures within NEHU has already started its task.
The NEHU acting Vice Chancellor N Saha has also instituted an inquiry committee and the report will be submitted to the two-member central committee.
