Shillong,July 8: HYC pushed back more than 70 illegal migrant workers on Saturday.
The action was after they were found working without any labour license.

HYC Umiam Circle president Shainstar Kharpan said the illegal workers were detected during checking conducted at Ladumsaw and Sumer area.
“We appealed to employers to ensure migrant workers obtain labour license and other necessary documents before engaging their services in the state,” he said.
The HYC leader said the organisation has decided to intensify checking on trading licenses and labour licenses in the area under the Umiam Circle.
