Shillong, Nov 5: The tainted police official, GK Iangrai was suspended from service after he was arrested on corruption charges for construction of National Emergency Response System (NERS) building at Sadar police station here.
Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui told reporters on Saturday that Iangrai was suspended and due process of law will follow regarding the case.

Iangrai will be produced before the court on Saturday evening as he was discharged from the hospital.
