Shillong,May 30: A two-member team of IIT, Guwahati visited the new Assembly site and the damaged dome at Mawdiangdiang on Saturday.
A PWD official said on Monday that the team took pictures of the dome and the under-construction Assembly building.

“The team returned on the same day and they will submit a proposal regarding the audit”, the official said.
According to the official, the proposal of the IIT will be brought before the High Power Committee of the Assembly (HPC).
Earlier, the decision of the HPC was that the IIT should carry out the audit of the entire Assembly building besides the dome.
