Shillong, May 17: International Nurses Day was observed at Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture here on May 12.
The day is celebrated every year to highlight the contribution of nurses to the healthcare sector

According to the International Council of Nurses (ICN), “Our Nurses, Our Future” is a global campaign which aims to address global health challenges and achieve better global health for all.
Farida Khan, Principal Mother’s School, Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture Shillong thanked the nurses..
“So, in light of International Nurses Day we ask everyone to honour the nurses in your life, show them you care, and give them a little love back for all the things they do that we should be so very grateful”, said Farida.
