JA Lyngdoh rejoins Congress, says people do not accept MDA candidates
Shillong, Oct 7: Former minister JA Lyngdoh has rejoined the Congress.
After joining the party, Lyngdoh said the voters of North Shillong constituency will not support any MDA candidate.

“People have already made up their mind that this time they want a change and the voters of North Shillong will not go with any candidate who comes from the MDA government,” Lyngdoh said.
Congress leaders PN Syiem and Deborah Marak welcomed him to the party fold.
Lyngdoh, who recently quit the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after being sidelined for the past four and a half years, was referring to the candidates from the National People’s Party (NPP), United Democratic Party (UDP) and BJP who are part of the MDA.
