Shillong, Aug 13: The southern border zone of the Jaiñtia National Council (JNC) re-elected its office bearers in a meeting held at Bataw in East Jaiñtia Hills on Tuesday.
CEC general secretary Wanshwa Suting led the oath-taking ceremony for the new leaders. Vice-president Nangjan Dkhar and chief organising secretary Philip J Bamon were also present.
Mebanteilang Sukhlaiñ, JNC’s publicity and information secretary, chaired the meeting. The new president of the zone is Jari Pajat, vice-president Shanbor Chadong and general secretary Marbaitlang P Suchiang. Other office bearers are:
