Shillong, Oct 20: The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president, Vincent Pala said on Friday that many former Congress leaders will rejoin the party by December.
“They are mostlly from Garo Hills and we hope to see them returning by December this year, Pala said.

However, he made it clear that the MLAs are not in the list of those who who want to come back.
The AICC secretary in-charge Meghalaya, Manish Chatrath had on Thursday said that some former Congress leaders had conveyed to him their desire to return to the party.
The MPCC president will forward such proposals to the AICC leadership, he had said.
