Shillong, Aug 25: Vikash Rana and Elizabeth Vincent (Lizzy), both from Meghalaya, won bronze medals at the 2025 Khelo India Water Sports Festival held in Srinagar.
Vikash won bronze in the Men’s K-1 Slalom event, and Elizabeth took bronze in the Women’s K-1 Slalom event.

Indra Sharma narrowly missed bronze by a split second in the Men’s C1 category.
The festival featured over 400 athletes from 36 states and union territories competing in various water sports. This achievement highlights Meghalaya’s growing presence in national water sports competitions.
