Shillong, June 3: KHNAM has asked the UDP and the HSPDP to leave the MDA to strengthen the regional alliance and assured support of the party if they do so.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday after the general council meeting of the party, KHNAM working president Thomas Passah said strengthening of regional democratic alliance is good provided that these parties come out of the coalition government.

“We are ready to support the regional alliance provided that they are not part of the government”, Passah said.
Recently, after a joint meeting, the UDP and the HSPDP have decided to reactivate the regional democratic alliance (RDA).
