Shillong, Oct 17: Mother’s School Shillong remembered Mahatma Gandhi (Bapu) recently.
As part of Gandhi Jayanti, several initiatives for the kids of the pre-school batch were undertaken by the school.

The school organised a craft activity and the kids sketched Gandhi’s portrait and charkha.
The purpose was to convey the importance of the charkha (spinning wheel) in Gandhi’s life. The interesting craft idea for the kids was to make a simple charkha with sticks.
The principal of the school, Farida Khan said, “Every child is an artist. It was a collective work of the children done on auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.”
