Shillong, Aug 24: The KSU and the residents from Meghalaya have foiled the attempt by a Karbi mob to destroy the plantations in Lapangap village.
Lapangap village is located in the border of West Jaintia Hills District and West Karbi Anglong District.

In the past there were incidents of border skirmishes in the area.
