Shillong, May 17: The state government has yet again decided to rename Lady Hydari Park as Ka Phan Nonglait park.
Nonglait was the lady freedom fighter of the Khasi Hills.

This despite the fact that the name board (in picture) at the entrance of the park reads Ka Phan Nonglait Park.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said the cabinet on Wednesday discussed the matter and observed that due to administrative procedures in the past, the execution of the decision was delayed.
Hence, the cabinet decided again regarding the change of name.
