Lamerphylla Damesha Kharsati gets bronze for India in international karate tournament

Shillong, June 30: Lamerphylla Damesha Kharsati has made the nation proud by securing a bronze medal in the 23rd Milo Open International Karate Tournament held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Competing in the -68kgs senior female category of kumite, Kharsati showcased exceptional skill and determination throughout the tournament held at the Titiwangsa Indoor Stadium from June 26 to June 30.

“Competing on an international stage and securing a medal is a significant milestone in my career. I am grateful for the opportunity to represent India and will continue to strive for excellence in future competitions,” said Kharsati after her remarkable performance.
