Shillong, Sept 26:The leader of cow protection group along with a few others will land in Shillong airport at 12 pm on Friday as part of their nation-wide campaign against beef consumption.
The national coordinator of Gau Gathbhandan, Raja Saksham Singh Yogi said on phone on Thursday that Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarandah Ji will reach the airport in a chartered flight.
Earlier on Thursday, the group was not allowed to come out of Dimapur airport and they returned after the district administration intervened.
Raja Saksham Singh Yogi said the group will land at 8 am in Manipur followed by Meghalaya at 12 pm.
When asked whether any permission was taken from the district administration for the proposed rally, the national coordinator said they did not take permission from other states too as it is a visit to all the states in the country.
He did not give the reason why the rally was preponed to September 27 as it was earlier scheduled on October 2 in Shillong.
