Shillong, Feb 8: Several prominent leaders from NPP, UDP and BJP joined the Congress on Tuesday to support its candidate from Jirang constituency, Adrian L Chyne Mylliem.
They include BJP leaders from 18mer Riang Pohtam and Bisida Sumer, UDP leaders Balaai Suting, Antipas Bina ( 18mer) and Boney Wick Marwein from Patharkhmah.

Prominent NPP leaders from 18th Mile include Shaniah Pohswet, Maxi Marak, Pynskhem Sumer, Morning Marngar from Patharkhmah and Jenewel Khongkliam from 15th mile.
The Congress said many more prominent leaders from NPP, UDP and BJP will be joining the Congress party in the coming weeks.
