Shillong, July 12: Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Labour & Employment Rameswar Teli said the coverage of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is only 62 per cent in Meghalaya.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, the minister said efforts are on to create awareness among the rural people who prefer wood to gas in their kitchens.

The minister distributed LPG cylinders to beneficiaries during a function held here.
