Shillong, Nov 6: KSU, Laitumkhrah Unit has announced Maitshaphrang Fight Night- Season 2 featuring mixed martial arts on November 9 at 4 pm at St Anthony’s Basketball Court.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, KSU Laitumkhrah Unit president Sambormi Lyngdoh said it is an opportunity for the people to witness trained young aspiring fighters competing.
There will be 30 participants for the event.
Lyngdoh said this is also an opportunity for the Khasi boys and girls to participate and excel in the sport.
According to the KSU leader, the purpose is also to divert the attention of the youngsters from substance abuse.
