Mamata meets Aditya Thackeray, discusses 2024 polls

Mumbai, Dec 1 (UNI): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee met Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray and MP Sanjay Raut here on Tuesday evening.
Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, Raut told that Banerjee has “special bond” with Shiv Sena leaders and the party has welcomed her.
MP Raut further stated that they talked on several issues, including general election of 2024, but declined to divulge details of the talks.
Raut called Banerjee ‘Tigress of West Bengal’ as she had fought the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) successfully.
The MP alleged that the Centre is using the central agencies against Maharashtra and West Bengal governments and that both parties have decided to fight against this ‘approach of the Centre’.
Meanwhile, BJP leader Ashish Shelar raised question over the meeting between Shiv Sena leaders and Banerjee and demanded to make the discussion held in the meeting public.
Shelar also alleged said that why Shiv Sena-led government supports Banerjee to talk Maharashtra industrialists.
